Apple’s Magsafe magnetic charger has been newly exposed with a colorful design. Kosutami, a well-known Apple product collector, revealed a new prototype yesterday. Kosutami stated that “the colorful Magsafe magnetic charger has the same style and color scheme as the previous charging cable for MacBook, but in more saturated colors”. More details and pictures will be released later.
Kosutami also revealed images of the yet-to-be-released Magic Charger Magsafe charger prototype, which IT House had previously reported as a version of the Magsafe charger that corresponds to Apple’s Lighting charging dock, with a hinged design.
The MagSafe magnetic charger was originally released on October 13, 2020, along with the iPhone 12/Pro series and uses the magnetic wireless power delivery standard. MagSafe provides up to 15W of charging power and is backward compatible with the Qi standard, so Qi-enabled Android phones and other devices can also be charged with the MagSafe charger.
