Nvidia has launched its latest GeForce graphics driver, version 536.67 WHQL coinciding with today’s debut of the new RTX 4060 Ti GPU. The drivers enable support and optimizations for the new card.
Ensuring Day-One 4060 Ti Compatibility
The key highlight of driver version 536.67 is introducing compatibility with the just-released RTX 4060 Ti graphics card. This provides out-of-box support for the new GPU on launch day.
The drivers also add DLSS 3 functionality for Portal: Prelude RTX and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart to showcase the AI-powered frame generation technology.
Additional Gaming Enhancements and Fixes
Beyond RTX 4060 Ti support, the new driver brings DLSS 2 to Remnant II for boosted performance. Resizable BAR allows Dying Light 2 to improve speeds by allowing full VRAM access.
Fixes are implemented for crashes in certain games when using GeForce Experience image filters. The drivers address stability issues reported during memory-intensive creative workloads as well.
Smooth Experience for New RTX Owners
Game Ready drivers ensure a seamless experience right out of the gate when new GPUs launch. Day one software maturity makes first impressions of new hardware more positive.
While the RTX 4060 Ti caters to mainstream gaming rigs, the drivers still implement prosumer-level highlights like DLSS 3 integration.
Nvidia’s driver team works closely with game developers to maximize optimizations and stability. Their collaboration pays off in polished support for major releases like the RTX 4060 Ti.
