Apple has announced that shipping or pickup of all Mac Studio non-basic configurations will be delayed until the end of June.
The company explained that there have been some manufacturing and shipping issues due to a global chip shortage, among other reasons, which has caused the delay. Apple appreciates the patience of consumers and assures that it will do its best to resolve the issue as soon as possible to ensure that all orders are delivered as quickly as possible.
An Apple spokesperson added, “We are working with our suppliers to ensure that the required parts are available as soon as possible so that normal production and shipping can resume as soon as possible.”
For those customers who have placed orders but have not yet received their computers, Apple will continue to update information on the order status page, including estimated delivery times.
