Iconic audio brand Marshall has unveiled its latest true wireless earbuds, the Motif II ANC, available September 12th for $199. The second-generation Motif aims to deliver better battery life, upgraded noise cancellation, and Marshall’s signature stylish design.
The Motif II ANC last up to 6 hours on a charge, with the included charging case providing an additional 24 hours of playback – a boost of 10 hours over the prior model. Active noise cancellation has also been improved to better block external sounds.
Visually, the buds maintain Marshall’s classic rock-inspired look, with textured stems and a leather-like finish reminiscent of the company’s guitar amps. Sustainability has been prioritized as well, with over 70% of the earbuds and case made from post-consumer recycled plastic.
A key new feature is support for LE Audio, a next-generation wireless standard that promises higher audio quality, improved sync, and extended range. When adopted more widely, LE Audio will future-proof the Motif II ANC.
Other capabilities include wireless charging, multipoint Bluetooth pairing to two devices simultaneously, and SBC and AAC codec support. The earbuds lack higher-end codecs like AptX, but provide most expected features at their reasonable price point.
With improved stamina, noise cancellation, and adoption of the LE Audio standard, the Motif II ANC represent a solid step forward for Marshall’s earbud line. The iconic metal-inspired design gives them broader appeal for those wanting to stand out from typical earbuds.
Marshall’s Motif II ANC deliver better battery life and audio capabilities while retaining the brand’s signature flair. The earbuds aim to attract music fans wanting improved functionality and a distinctive look and feel.
